My Week

Hiiiii!

Last week was very busy. I had a new student enrol on Monday and he has tipped my 'nice' class upside down. He turns 5 in April and so only just scraps in with his age. We are thinking about suggesting to his Mum that he goes back to pre-school because although he is academically able, he is very socially immature. English is his third language and he has been very naughty!!!!
I had my first class of yoga on Monday. It went for two hours. I am doing Dru Yoga with is mainly stretching, slow movements and relaxation techniques. I feel asleep during the meditation session at the end and slept really well that night and most of this week. I think the 'natural' pills/tonic from the naturopath is really helping to control my stress levels as well.
My cat got bitten by a black snake on Monday arvo. BF let her in a 4.00 after school. Around 6pm I noticed she really wasn't too steady on her feet. We rang the night vet at 8.30 and um-ed and ah-ed about taking her in, but it was $150 call out and although I love my cat I didn't think it was 'that' serious on Monday night. She was a little worse the next morning so I took her in at 10.15am. As soon as the vet saw her he said it was snake bite. So my baby Ali was in hospital for 3 nights/4 days on a drip. Luckily she did not need anti-venom as it alone costs between $480-$600 depending on the snake. All up it cost $418 and now she has to stay inside for a whole week. It is killing her already! My other cat has not stopped spitting and hissing at her since she came home and is still doing it 2 days later. I think he liked being the man of the house and having all the attention to himself. Ali just looks at him as if he is an absolute dickhead! I Don't blame her because that is what I'm thinking! Luckily it is not upsetting her.

Above is the arrogant little shit that is hissing at my beautiful baby below. Isn't she sweet... And I am very luck that she is still alive.

I went back to the doc about my cholesterol issue and she wants to try lowering it with diet.

So... choose lean meats - check, cut fat of all meat - check, choose low fat dairy products - check, no takeaway food (I only do this once a week at the most and we don't have pizza or any crap it might be some rice from the noodle box in Wodonga) No snack foods, well I rarely have these. So all in all I am already doing everything she wants me to do. The consultation took 5 minutes and they were going to sting me $50!!!!!! I did the sob story about waiting longer than I was even in the bloody room. At least she was probably running on time again after me! So they bulk-billed me!!!!! YES!!! What a lovely lady she was...

That's about it for the week, we are almost ready to have the concrete poured in the pergola area, so no more dirt and sand inside.. yayyyy! :)

February already!!!!

Hello everyone.

It has been a hot couple of days this past week and it will continue to be as well I'm afraid. It's been in the high 30's so far, supposed to be up around 40 today and 39 for the next two days!

The start of the school year has good relatively well, a few issues, but nothing too major to share. I've got to do some planning work today so I know what I'm doing for the rest of the week with the kiddies.

I've done 1 load of washing, one is getting washed as I type and I have another load of whites to soak afterwards, (all going out onto the lawn as grey water). Even though it's a drought, Wodonga is only on level 1 water restrictions at the moment. I can't quite understand it! I think we must be nearly the only town in Victoria not on at least level 3 restrictions. We are allowed to water our garden every second day between 8pm-10pm and between 6am-8am. I've let the lawn die, but it's amazing how it comes up again with the grey water from the washing machine.

I went to netball training on Thursday night and it was pretty light going. It was still very hot though and I had a headache afterwards. I made sure I drank plenty of water before, during and after, but still running on asphalt is pretty hot.

I start yoga this Wednesday which will be nice, it will help to keep my stress-head at bay. I've been taking some supplements from the naturapath to help with my stress and I really think it is helping as well.

We went swimming last night out at Yackandandah, we took out some drinks and then went on a mini pub crawl, I was driving so i only managed 3 bourbons for the whole night. My BF was s**t-faced, I have some wonderful shots of him sitting in a bin cupboard in the TAB section at the pub!

I'm not sure if I mentioned a few posts back that I had to get some blood tests done to check cholesterol and other stuff. High cholesterol runs in my family and my Nan had open heart surgery in Dec as a complication of high cholesterol. Anyway, I have high cholesterol!!!! I am 26, I do exercise, I eat pretty well and I have a reading of 7.2!! It should be under 3. So I'm back to the doctor on Tuesday to find out what to do next. I've spoken to my naturapath and I think I'm going to try to control it with natural supplements and diet for 6 months and see if I can get it down. I don't know how this will go, hereditary high cholesterol can usually only be controlled by medication. My Mum tried to control hers with diet, she lost weight, but her cholesterol went up. The only thing that works for her is medication, it's the same with my Nan, my uncle and my Aunts!

OK, my 2nd load has finished, best put on the 3rd load of whites to soak,
Cheers.

Australia Day

Hello...

I had a lovely massage of Wednesday, the lady was great and it was really relaxing. It took nearly 40 mins to really relax as I kept on talking, but I nearly went to sleep in the last 20 mins. It was only $40 for 1 hour and 15 mins and she even came to may house which was great.

I had naturopath appointment that day as well. I am stressed!!!! It's in my eyes, and guess what I know that!!!! I'm a perfectionist/compulsive person. I think that's one of the reasons I didn't last with my last challenge, it's because I put the cleaning first etc. I am on stress tablets and a stress tonic to try to combat the start of the year next week (teaching I mean), but she has also got me signed up to do yoga! The place is only 4 mins walk from my house and my friend that I mentioned in my last post is also going to join me.

Last week I managed 3 long huffy puffy walks, so that is better than nothing. Netball training starts this Thursday and I will definitely keep walking and add a body pump/and or combat in there too.

I bought an apple corer and spiral machine from spotlight today as well as some glitter glue to put the kids names on their reading satchels.

That's about it my Australia Day was great, spent with friends, BBQ was had, as well as backyard cricket, PS2 Singstar and Triple J hottest 100. I must say I pretty disappointed with the No 1 song, can't even remember what it was called it was that memorable!

Have a great week,
Mmmwaaa

Motivating Myself

I piked!!

I got myself all ready and phsyched, and I piked (Damn!!!). I had all my meals planned and I was going to go swimming in the morning and weights in the arvo, but Kane didn't buy me cottage cheese and guess what? It was easier not to do it than go and buy cottage cheese! How pathetic.

It is now two days after Monday and I have not started my program, but at least have done 2 power walks. I have just msg'd a netball friend to see if she would like to get fit with me. Maybe a training partner will motivate me again.

I went to the doctor this morning for a referral to get a full blood count done including cholesterol. My family on my Mum's side has a very strong history of high cholesterol, and my Nan had open heart surgery 6 weeks ago as a complication of not being medicated eary on (Controlled diet didn't work for my Nan or my Mum). I have known this for a while, but kept thinking 'I'm only 26, I couldn't possibly have high cholesterol'. Anyway spose we will find out when I have the tests done, I think I'll have it done on Thursday morning, I have to fast and the doc said the best time to get in done is 'mid morning' due to the oldies going in so earlier, therefore it's busy.

Tomorrow I also have an appointment with a natrapath, I think mostly out of curiosity. I wonder if the blood test and natrapath comes up with similar diagnosis'! Tomorrow I also have a shiatsu massage, this lady comes to my house, will be great to have my knots worked on, he he he!!!!!

Thursday it's a full facial done with dermalogica cosmetics etc! Looking forward to this.

Ok, so I still haven't heard from my friend about getting fit together, since I started writing this post. Fingers crossed,

Cheers

Long and Overdue...

Ok, where to start?

This is a really long post everyone.

I finished work on the 21st of December 2006, since then, I think I have been at home 7 days, but not consecutively.

It all started on the 15th of December, my staff Xmas Party, was a great night, a bit of mix up, but hey isn’t there always a problem. The next day we drove 2.5 hours for BF Dad’s (divorced) Family Xmas Party, at which the his new GF cooked. Was a great meal, we played cricket on the front lawn and stayed up late with ‘Sing Star’ and stayed the night. Drove home the next day (2.5 hours) around lunchtime and went to sleep.

Then started the last week of school, clean up, a baby-sit week. That’s all we do in the last week of the year, baby-sitting!!! A very full on week, class party, cleaning, keeping kiddies amused, presents etc. Second last day, one of my gorgeous girls broke her arm in three places. She was hysterical and I don’t do breaks/blood very well. She was crying, her Mum was crying and I was crying, she is OK, I saw her a couple of days ago, but I think I was just very tired and worn out by this stage.

School ended and I didn’t cry this year!!! I think because it was such a hard bunch of kids this year, I wasn’t sad to see ‘some’ of them go J. But still couldn’t comprehend that I now had 5 weeks holidays. Now I can’t comprehend how they are almost gone, well.. as I continue you might!!!

On the 22nd we drove to Shepparton for a B’day Party, friend of mine came down from Brisbane and we stopped over the night and then drove on to Bendigo for the real Xmas.

So we finally made it to Xmas. I was feeling pretty tired and was starting to unwind from school; I was sleeping well which was great. Had a great Xmas lunch at BF Mum’s house, and then we went to her new husband’s family’s place for dinner. It was a bit full on, 30 people I didn’t know on Xmas Day, eating their food. I felt like I was intruding and I suppose it took around ½ an hour to get comfortable and start chatting. They had a great tradition there though. They bought a piƱata from a market and filled it with lolly bags, one for each child and hung it from a tree where no one could reach it. After dinner they each got to have a hit, when it broke each child got a lolly bag. It was a pity about the freezing cold and wind!

That night I went to bed totally stuffed!!! I woke up around 3am feeling a little ‘yuck’, funny sounds from the belly and feeling like I’d eaten too many sweets (too many to chose from!), though I know I was very careful, I deliberately didn’t want that feeling.

I got worse, the diarrhoea started, so many trips to the toilet, then at 5am I vomited, and then again at 7.30am, I was freezing and moaning from stomach cramps. This went on for the whole of Boxing Day, the day we were supposed to go home. On the bright side the diarrhoea stopped that night and I think I lost all the weight I put on in the lead up to and the day of Xmas.

Ok home on the 27th, we were supposed to go pretty much straight away back to Leeton, (BF Dad’s) for BF’s brother’s engagement party on New Years Eve. But hey, Kelly put her foot down… too much, I need to rest!!!

On New Years Eve we drove to Borellen, just outside of Leeton and had an OK night. But went back into Leeton after midnight, still not feeling 100% from gastro. We spent 3 days in Leeton, skied on the 3rd of Jan, I had a go on the knee board, biscuit and double ski’s.

On the 4th we flew to Sydney for our job interviews for OS. We had sign ups with schools Thursday arvo and an interview with a school in Angola as well. We went out for tea to Tony Romas, near Darling Harbour and had a great night. We got back to Star City around 10.30, next day we had interviews and presentations all day, we had interviews with International Schools in Suzhou in China, Tokyo in Japan, Tanzania and Indonesia. Friday night we went to the Casino briefly and lost $25 in 10 minutes on pokies. We wanted to have a go at poker, but too many people and too expensive per hand, we’re too tight for that! Sunday we flew back to Griffith and got picked up and went back to Leeton. The next day we drove back to Wodonga.

We were supposed to drive to Paynesville in Gippsland to go camping on the 8th, but due to the fires near Tambo Crossing and Bruthen, the Great Alpine road was cut, which meant going the long way. As I hadn’t stopped since school had finished I was stuffed and in the ‘I can’t be F’d’ mood! So I sat on the idea for a few days. I hadn’t seen my family yet and I miss them terribly. So I told Kane let’s just do it. On Thursday we packed and let for our trip, the long, but safe way J

Back- peddling…

I got my nose pierced on Wednesday the 10th! It’s still a bit tender, I was so nervous. Before this I had been felling a bit sick since Sydney, all a bit too much I hear! I nearly fainted Wednesday night at dinner with some friends, I think from shock and exhaustion. And with the long 7 hour drive on Thursday, I got a lovely cold, blocked nose, which did my piercing great discomfort and a sore throat as well as feeling more exhausted.

Eagle Ponit Caravan Park was fun. It was great to see my family, I got sun burnt, took lots of Cold and Flu tablets and nose spray to unblock my nose. We went for a small walk and did some canoeing, lots of talking, went into Bairnsdale for lunch and then came back to Traralgon on the 14th.

Last night I went out to dinner with a friend and today I took my brother’s out for lunch to the Ice-creamery. I love their baked potatoes.

So I am up-to-date, well in a short/condensed version I am. So much has happened and this post doesn’t even get down into the nitty-gritty of it.

I am exhausted and it hasn’t even finished yet. On Thursday I am supposed to go home to Wodonga (5 hour trip) and then drive back to Healesville (3 hour trip) for my Grandfathers 70th birthday Party, and then drive home again. The following week will be spent at home!!!! After that back to workL

How can 5 weeks be gone that fast? I am not ready for work, and I still feel very exhausted from everything else.

Never again will I do this much in my holidays, remind me please.

I have heard back from some schools about job OS, but I’ll save that for another post J Oh and I put on 2kg, lost it with gastro, put on 2kg’s and lost it from lose of appetite when feeling sick. So I am back to 60.5kg again.

Cheerio,

Sorry it was so long!

So much has happened

Welcome to 2007, the year I will!!!!

I've changed my blog and the name of my post to...
I'm on my way...
On my way to happiness, to the body I want, to the inner peace I'm searching for.

I'm not in the right frame of mind to have a long in depth post yet. Too much has happened in the past month... nothing bad, just so much. It has really caught up with me in the last day and a cold is about to attack (lots of echinacea to be taken).

When I've settled down and I'm ready I will post and fill you all in. I also need 'time' to work out my 2007 goals, one of which will to post on the IBO forum, I've been 'lurking' the past few weeks!!!!

I'm off to bed, I felt really dizzy and tired today, but I also feel ADHD, I can't write cause I've got the shakes and can't concentrate either, could it be the jet lag and travel from the past month?

Bed and rest.

Talk soon,
Kelly

That time of year

Hot Air Ballooning across the Yarra Valley in March 2006

Hello everyone, well since my 1 clean day... zilch clean days :(((

I am pathetic!

Anyway, tis the time of the year when everyone in my class buy's me chocolate as a thank-you gift. Please... NO CHOCOLATE... but I can't say that can I? It would be rude, so I try to make a joke out of it with my Prep class, 'It will make Miss Rippon fat!' as I grab my belly. They laugh and think it's a great joke :) LOL. I wish they'd all put in and get me a gift voucher at Myer or something.

I have done all the Chrissy shopping, OMG how expensive. It's all wrapped and I don't even have kids to make it that expensive!

Last weekend was the last weekend at home for 4 weeks, heres the itinery...

Next weekend - To Leeton for Kane's Dad's Xmas party
Xmas weekend - To Bendigo for Kane's Mum's Xmas Day
New Years Eve - Back to Leeton for Kane's Brothers Engagement Party
3rd Jan - Leave from Griffith Airport to Sydney for job interview for teaching OS
6th - Back to Griffith Airport (Did you know it is cheaper to fly from Griffith-Sydney return than from Albury or Melbourne? And we'll be only 50km from Griffith for Engagement Party anyway)

Busy hey?

I found out that I have Prep again next year, and my class is just gorgeous. 10 girls and 9 boys and they can all write their name which is nice. I am so ready to handball my current class. They are really ready to go to their next teacher!!!! They are loud, rude, nasty to each other, (yeah, 5 year olds can be really nasty) and talk about wingeing and dobing!!!! Over them, big time! I have to admit though they have been a really tough bunch of kids, the chemistry was way off with my group this year.

So bring on next Thursday at 2.00pm , 5 weeks of holidays, lovely.

If I don't write for a while Merry Xmas and have a safe and happy New Year.

I did it!

Hi everyone

I did it, I ate clean and exercised.

M1 - Oats and cottage cheese
M2 - Salad and 1 sausage (left over from BBQ)
M3 - Orange and 10 cashews, 3 almonds
M4 - 5 flavored rice cakes and avocado and 1 protein shake
M5 - Fish and veggies with small amount of potato

I went for a 50min powerwalk this arvo with Kane, it is very hot... it was 38 degrees today and it is only supposed to get to 21 degrees tonight. It is very windy and I am expecting thunder and lightening while I am in bed tonight.

I have painted my nails tonight as well as writing 3 reports for my students.

Well I did it and now I have to do it again tomorrow. Tomorrow I play netball at 7.15 so that will be my exercise for the day.

My baby 'Leo' being naughty. But he is soooo cute!!!

Ok, I'm feeling pretty crappy right now

Hi everyone,
We had a BBQ for tea tonight. I had my aunt and uncle around for dinner and my younger cousins. We had a deliciously healthy meal and a small dessert, however I've been reading through my blog from August/September and now I feel fat again! I'm feeling sorry for myself because I gave up.
I don't want sympathy... I just need to verbalise my feelings and get on with it, just like Rebecca is. Good on ya Rebecca, I need your enthusiasm.
I need to believe in myself and that I can have a good body, I can! I just need to put in the effort... Consistently put in the effort. Tomorrow is a new day.
I will blog tomorrow and tell good things. Fingers crossed for me girls!
I found this photo of my team on Grandfinal Day, I have trouble seeing me though, I may be the girl walking off the court behind the blonde with the WD bib on.In this photo I am the (GS) navy blue and white girl right down the other end, I am behind my player.Kane and I at our 'mock' wedding on the day after G'final. A pretty funny event!!! LOL. Dick is marrying us here!

Renovating Over

I am so glad to say that. I have lived in filth for the last 3 weeks, but now my house is clean... yeh!! LOL
I have de-grouted 325 large floor tiles in the last 8 days with a small hand tool, (my hand is very tender and bruised in some places, it is set like concrete in some places), painted my kitchen/dining room and cleaned and cleaned and cleaned.

I finished ripping out all the grout at 8pm last night and started cutting in with the paint. Each 'cutting in' took over two hours, so I did this while listening to Con Air on the TV last night. This morning I got up and rolled, cut in and rolled again and finished at 1.00 this arvo. I then cleaned for over 4 hours. The grout and plaster dust from the kitchen reno's was everywhere.

All in all I am very tired however happy because I have a clean house and all the major stuff is now over. We will have the pergola concreted soon and then there are all those tid-fidly thing you need to do to finish off everything.

Kane is at Derby Day today so I have done most of the work. I'm so glad it's over. I am going to get changed soon into PJ's and watch another episode of 'Band of Brothers'. See I only blog when I have time and that is also the same time I can watch 'Band of Brothers' LOL. I might paint my nails and have a malibu and diet coke.

So with all my hard work last week I haven't done any exercise however all the de-grouting and painting must account for something!!!!

I am getting up for a walk tomorrow morning and then doing nothing, nothing... oh that sounds nice.

Busy bee and sickness

Hi everyone, it's been a long time.

I suppose I should start with saying that I have still been reading everyone's blogs each day... But... I have had my head in the sand, haven't wanted to blog for the fact that I haven't really achieved anything and thought how can I comment on others blogs when I haven't achieved anything???

I have been flat out lately. Since netball and school holidays Kane and I have been fixing up our house flat strap. We have totally re-done the backyard including a watering system, water saved it with crystals and mulched every garden bed, painted our room, had the plastering done in the kitchen and had the kitchen tiles done. Now we need to make slight changes to a laminate wall next to the oven to tile that tiny space. (The previous tile cracked because whoever put it on used the wrong glue and hence it has burnt the laminate, which is OK, except the tiles we have chosen are too deep and so they don't quite fit! It's always one thing that leads into another) On Saturday we are going to paint half the kitchen/dining/living room. It's quite a big job.

I am sooooooo over renovating. I want my own time back and I would really like to get up on a weekend, go for a long walk, have a shower, put descent clothes on and dry my hair nicely. Instead at the moment I seem to get up have a shower, tie my hair up in a bun, put a headband in and wear crappy paint/outdoor clothes and it make me feel shit all day. Then my weekend is gone and back into work for the week... same cycle next weekend again! OVER IT!!!!!!!!!!

So because we have been going so hard... (In an attempt to have it all finished before Christmas) I have come down with a nasty bug. We had a few drinks on Saturday night and a few cigarettes (naughty I know, smack, smack, smack), my BF passed out on the loungeroom floor as we didn't eat tea! I woke up feeling, well, crap. But as Sunday went on, I didn't get any better, the others did. Monday my throat was very dry and I had a fuzzy head, yesterday the nose started and the cough as well, by last night my voice started to disappear. This morning I have a full on head cold and crackly voice as well as these bizarre stomach cramps that have lasted 3 days so far. They are like hunger pains, but without the stomach grumbles or need to eat, and worse after I eat.

Exercise... whats that???? In the past 3 weeks I have managed 3 netball games and 2 3km runs. But somehow I have managed to keep my weight at a constant 60.3 - 60.7kgs. The bodyfat is creeping up slowly though.

Anyway I have 6 DVD's to get through while I'm at home sick, I'm watching the whole series of 'Band of Brothers'. While trying to ignore the dust, plaster and grout all over my house until it is all finished tonight. Tomrrow will be cleaning while trying to get over this damn virus.

See you,

Kelly

I'm starting again...

Hi Guy's I've decided to start again with my challenge... however it is not going to be a challenge this time, it's going to be a lifestyle shift.

Let me explain...
I haven't put in close to 50% in the last 4 weeks, there are many excuses I could have a cry about but I'm not going to do that. I have 29 days to go on the IBO challenge and I'm not going to make anywhere near the changes I wanted to and with how slack I've been in the last few weeks I need to start again. I don't think my body will handle the updated program as all my work in the first four weeks has pretty much evaporated!!! I still weigh roughly the same... 61kg give or take, but my body fat has risen a bit. So I'm going back to the drawing board starting again and will use my IBO program to guide me in the right direction, I may do it slower than in the '12' weeks, but I hope to make changes of my own accord.

So there you go, hope I'm not disapointing you like I've disapointed myself but... hey life goes on.

I'm going to Mum's Tuesday for a week. I haven't been home to Traralgon since Christmas (It's 5 hours drive away) can't wait. Going without my BF so I'll be all lonesome I'm sure. I can't wait to catch up with all my friends etc. Mum has a tredmill so I'll be using it reguarly. I'll take my fitball and hopefully get to the gym while there. I'm not going to stress too much though. I'm on holidays for two whole weeks!!!

Take care everyone.
Catch up soon.

Week 8 Day 1

Kane's Footy team

Good news... and very bad news!!!

The bad news... we lost, the good news... it was even at half time, 15 goals all. The very bad news... We lost by 22 goals!

Yes, you read right! We lost by 22 goals in 1 half of netball! How hard is that to write!
More good news... Kane won his Grandfinal so it was a big weekend. He played really well and got a medal and all that jazz.

Back to the game. After half time our coach made changes and we kinda lost it from there. They got the first 6 goals in the third quarter before I even touched the ball. Then I missed a few (it was very gusty) and I got taken off in the last quarter! Game over. We got a dumb patch that says runners-up (losers badge, I've called it!) and a fake squishy netball from Netball Victoria. So I got a pocket knife, put a hole in the badge and wore it around my neck with a lanyard all night (You can see it in the pictures below). I've decided... I made it to the Grand final from 5th on the ladder and I'll be proud. A couple of the footballers asked if I wanted to swap my badge for their medal, I said, 'No, mines bigger than yours!'

So I'm a little sleepy, back to the real world tomorrow and will again try to make sense out of my update. Cheers everyone for you positive comments and well wishes for the weekend.
Oh.. and a big congrats to Carolyn, you look wonderful!

Izzy, Laura and I stealing the Seniors Premiership Cup at the Eskdale Pub. Was a massive 7 hour drinking session. Got onto full shots of kahlua, and full shots of vodka and milks for $5 a pop. Cheap!

Laura and I with our 'losers' badge. Izzy with her head in the middle.

Izzy and Kane with the cup! Flo in the background!

Week 7 Day 4

Ok so I've slackened off a bit this week. I've this fear in my mind that I'm going to be soooo sore with the DOMS if I'd attempted my updated program this week and I want to be in the best shape I can be on Saturday for the GF. I'm slack, I know, avoiding the DOMS is not how I am going to achieve my goals and I know it. I have made a promise to myself to sit down and really think about my program and how to achieve my goals on Monday and then hit it hard for the final 4 weeks before continuing on for more lasting lifestyle changes. I did go to the gym on Monday and up'd all my weights with my 'old' program and yes... I'm still sore just from that, imagine how I'd feel on Saturday if i'd gymed it tonight with legs?

I haven't drank enough water today and I'm definitely feeling it. I stuffed up my routine today by not filling up my water bottle this morning when I first got to work, only had 200mls (?) in it, and thats how much I've had today... pretty bad hey? And I'm used to drinking nearly 3L a day!...
That made me go and get a drink and I'm feeling really light headed now.

I have the school walkathon tomorrow, two hours of walking should do me for cardio tomorrow, I may only walk half the time though, I have preps (kindergarten) kids and they are all new to this, I'll walk a few laps with them and then do crowd control as I know they'll start winging about having to do it and try to sneak off and play, (geez I'm tough!).

Have a great night, I'm off to our last netty training this year in 20 mins.
Ciao,
Kelly

Week 7 Day 1

Had a productive day of exercise today. Did Shoulders/Back/Chest at the gym after work as well as 2 of 3 ab exercises, but went around the corner to find all the tredmills occupied in the cardio room. I went home and did 30 mins of jogging, (average heart rate of 161) and came home for a shower. I turned on the computer and found my program update... I only just got used to the other one! Anyway the only change to my nutrition was no more carbs at M4 anymore. I took a few pic's on Saturday for my update and I really liked this one, can't really remember why I was laughing, but it made my abs look ok for once. Maybe I'll have to laugh in my after shots to look a 'little' toned! Anyway I've started searching for a bikini for 'the end' of the challenge, I'm sure it'll creep up quite quickly. I don't like really low hipster styles, my abs will never look 'that' good to wear hipsters.

alrighty I've a busy week ahead, I've already told work I won't be in next Monday. Mad Monday here we come :)

Plan this week:
Monday - 30 mins jog, weights
Tuesday - Netball training
Wednesday - Cardio, weights
Thursday - Netball training, weights
Friday - Power walk and getting my tax done
Saturday - Grandfinal and then drinking, drinking and probably more drinking
Sunday - drinking, drinking and drinking
Monday - recover
Tuesday - Back on the wagon!!!!!

Cheers

Week 6 Day 6

I've come to the conclusion that we must be the most tin-arsed team in our league.

We won by 5 goals today and yes... We are in the A Grade Grandfinal!

We play Yackandandah, they are is awesome. So bring on the leprechaun because we will need some luck :)

So Kane and I will both play next weekend. It will be quite a large weekend I feel. I'm going to take Monday off as I remember what GF weekend was like last year... and the year before that... and the year before that. So it is sure to be HUGE!

I had my measurements done this morning. I little bit disappointing, I had a lady do them today and her idea of a measurement was to be very loose with the tape measure. I lost around 1-2 cm from most areas but I put on 1.5cm in my thighs???? I know they are smaller. My clothes tell me that. So I might ignore the numbers and go on how I'm feeling and how the clothes are feeling and I am happy.

So with netball continuing on for one more week I have 3 cardio sessions organised. Only need to plan 3 myself.

I'll go for a Powerwalk tomorrow morning and then breakfast, off to the gym to do arms/back/shoulders and then grocery shopping and home for cleaning and a relax!

Hope you're having a smashing weekend... I'm still in shock that we actually won!
