It's cold up here!

Hello everyone...

Well I am on holidays yay :) I have been looking forward to coming to Brisbane for 6 months having not previously been to QLD before, well it is cold. I'm in my PJ's at the moment after spending the day at Surfer's Paradise. I was shocked at how commercial it was, almost felt like Melbourne walking around the shops there. We had fresh fish and chips at Pete's Shack and went to the top of the Q1 tower for a look. We were lucky enough to see three whales blowing water down below us. I got some good photos of them and some good ones of the main beach and my BF and I, but I'll have to wait till I get home to post them.

I have been pretty good with exercise over the last two days, our hosts are very active and so I went for a 1h20m walk yesterday around the Jindalee hills and Brisbane river boardwalk and today went to Curves for 1/2 hour and a 1/2 hour walk home. My back is still pretty sore from netball and the bruising from the massage is still coming out, but hill walking.......... I'm not used to that and I'm definitely feeling it in my calves and my butt!!!!

Off to have my hair done tomorrow and shopping in Brisbane. As well we are having tea at Southbank and then across to the Casino. Saturday we are watching our friend play AFL football, we'll fit in some shopping too and then chill. Sunday morning we are going to high tail up to Sunshine Coast to Noosa for the day and then back to Mooloolabar to stay somewhere flash on the main strip. Theme parks are the go on Tuesday and then back to good old Melbourne to meet my Mum for the night in an apartment before the drive up the Hume to freeeezing Wodonga. Night everyone :)
